i think that people are having a hard time believing that poe died of a bite in 1849, a docter says that it is a bite and then someone else says that it is from being drunk or exposure to anything. my oppinion is that they should just figure it out on there own i think that maybe if it comes down to it maybe he was drunk or maybe it was from a bite who knows?
in the article "if only poe had suceeded when he said nevermore to drink", this article states that the doctor or medical examiner Dr. r. michael benitez, the guy who said that it was a bite and not alcohol, this article states that he was wrong to diagnose that edgar allen poe died from a bite when he was spotted at a bar and that it was alcohol.
in the article "rabies death theory" it says that to the contrary to a september 23rd letter, that they do not "admit" that it was an animal bite and that it just happened pretty much.
i personally think that the symptoms they named do lead to it being a bite which im saying he may of died of rabbies but who knows not me i think that some stories are unsolved this one may be thought solved but in reality its not i think that if they cant decide if its rabbies or alcohol then its not solved and let me tell you it seems like there having a hard time figuring it out to me so i think it is unsolved
in the articles it says that he had a cat and that the cat died of rabbies but they dont think that the cat gave the rabbies to poe, people are still saying it was alcahol that killed him but in one of the articles it says that evan a small glass or whine could hurt poe, so what do we say to that truth of false we dont know what he died from exactly but hey we will never know will we?
